Leaf Area Index

LAI is estimated by collecting colour images of the canopy every month, with a digital camera connected to a hemispherical lens on a tripod, at 20 points per hectare plot. Images are processed with a free software, (CAN-EYE)[http://147.100.66.194/can_eye/page3.htm].

Mean plot LAI is estimated in unit area per unit area (m2 m-2).

Hi all

I have a 60D EOS CANON camera and a SIGMA 8mm fish eye lens used to take hemyspherical pictures. Both devices work very well but the pictures don't look complete (i.e. upper and lower parts are missing as showed in attached one). I think I need to change the configuration but don't know how to do it. Please help me with this. I really appreciate any piece of technical advie.

Thanks in advance

    Hi all,

I am trying to analize my hemispherical pictures, I have the CAN eye software and followed the manual steps but I did not get good results. I think there is one step missing. Please anyone who could help me with that.
